December? Already?

I cannot believe it is already December. In just (less than) two short months, my baby girl will be one year old. It's unbelievable, really it is! This has been the fastest and best year of my life. I love being a mother. It is the greatest thing in the world. Soon and very soon I will get to achieve my dream of becoming a stay at home mom. Thanks to the hard work of my husband, a lot of budgeting and sacrificing, and the endless support of my mom and my sister Rena. But enough about me, back to Adelaide.

She was born at 7lbs and 21inches long.

Now, she's up to almost 17lbs and 28inches long =]

She is still nursing, and baby led weaning with solids. The kid LOVES to eat! Her newest fav is graham crackers. She will rip that sucker out of your hand with no manners whatsoever and it's the cutest thing!
She is taking steps. Each day it seems like a few more.. We are betting she will be walking by the holidays.
Addie signs "more" and most importantly "Touchdown!"
She can say MAMA (yes, finally!) and DADA
She's very good at Shhhhh'ing you and making the Muuuah kissing sound. She's also been trying to say "dog" lately which is coming out as "dah" but we get the point =] She's growing and changing each and every day and we are cherishing each and every moment!
